Colossians 3:23-24 - Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
We love building houses and delivering keys to new homeowners – we take a great deal of pride in knowing we helped create a place someone will call home. That rally cry, as great as it is, pales in comparison to why we do it. We believe we exist to use our homebuilding company as a ministry. Realizing we have been entrusted to steward
our company as if we were working for the Lord – because we are. We believe we have a responsibility to care for our customers, employees and their families, trade partners and the community in which we live and operate. At the end of the day – we build homes to pump as much good into the world as possible.
When people think of businesses making a positive impact, philanthropy often comes to mind. While philanthropy is a significant part of our efforts, we embrace a holistic approach to using our business as a ministry. This approach encompasses all our resources – our time, skills, business acumen, service, and financial contributions.
Our work is viewed through a lens of ministry. We participate in community service projects, we give charitable donations, and support our employees and trade partners through prayer. McGuinn employees are paid for one day of service per year to help at the organization of their choice.

Wade McGuinn founded Haiti Children Project in 2007. Now known as Next Generation Ministries, the nonprofit has grown from an orphanage to a stipend and school scholarship program for young people in Haiti. Also, Next Generation Ministries partners with link-minded organizations who are actively serving as the hands and feet of Jesus.
